We can’t talk about the horrific reality that republicans are creating for Americans and the world without talking about the ways working Americans are going to suffer. Executive orders have carried out much of the Project 2025 hate project and have started shedding essential government workers at the directives of elected and unelected criminal billionaires. 

As the inaugural Trump cake was sliced, billionaires were served first and exclusively. Tax cuts for them and subsidies from our tax dollars are en route to their bank accounts. Ring kissing billionaires have taken the extreme measures of dropping winning lawsuits against the felon president himself, as the monopolies play for more pieces of the liquidated American Pie. Next up, social security. To those on social security this attack should be no surprise, if you have been awake at all. Republicans have schemed to raid the coffers of Social Security for decades. Trump and his campaign didn’t waver from attacking the program that houses more Americans than any other single program in our country. Some recipients were even benefactors from subsidized white only housing back when suburbs were created as tools of segregation, which paints a much different picture than the “did it myself everyone else should too” mindset those generations seemed entitled to have today. 

In case you haven’t realized, government workers aren’t the problem. The problems are leaders who don’t believe in the power of government to answer the calls of its people. Trump and his administration are failures by principles, because they’re too selfish and cowardly to care about anyone other than themselves or even pretend to try. They ran to secure power for the powerful and lock the rest of us out forever. That’s what you get when you start to own law and order.

Watch them shed the workers who protect us at the FBI and other criminal monitoring agencies as they have with the FAA, FDA, FEMA, and more. Deregulation is only good for corruption. Loyalists will replace nonpartisan government workers. Helpful services will be replaced with punishing services. There will be an economy of pain feeding our tax dollars to companies creating the weapons they use against us. This will continue until we take back power. Stand together.
