We hope you join us in our mission to support small businesses across the country as inflation and boycotts make seeking alternative markets a must. It’s important to redirect spending to local and community small businesses instead of into the pockets of the monopolies buying off our government for deregulation and tax dollars.
Hundreds of thousands of government works are out of work, collecting temporary unemployment, and adding to an already saturated job market for the numbers of good paying jobs out there. At the same time, hundreds of thousands in the private sector have been laid off due to closed government contracts and anticipated slow downs in funding.
As the government pulls away from assisting the most in need Americans so that Billionaires can give themselves and their boards enormous bonuses and to buy back company ownership with tax dollar subsidies, we need to be the stimulus that brings back small business in as much of a way as we can.
There needs to be a reshaping of the way our government feeds and permits oligarchical forces like monopoly and billion dollar industrial subsidy, and there needs to be a reshaping of the way our government is shaped. Instead of millionaires and billionaires and the well connected and powerful ruining everything from the delusion of their privilege and cold hard subscription to the idea that we can all get the carrot if we sacrifice enough, we need to empower each other to lead for the many.
We need the selfless spirit of American service to serve for the people the way we serve our communities in the classrooms, government offices, and in the contract between the individual and the government entrusted with protecting and respecting the rights our persons. And until enough of us average Americans populate those seats of power that were only meant to serve the powerful, we will realize the power of the American people and be the nation we were always promised to become.
A revoking of economic power is protest, but to redirect that economic power to small business is a movement back to a collective economic system and a retention and growth of community wealth and opportunity. We hope you see opportunity in supporting our mission here and in the mission of community owned businesses across the country. Support each other at all costs.
